Grades SK: ALL SK Students (New and Returning) Grade 1-2: All NEW students in G1-G2 who did not take Beginner Minecraft in the Fall. Why Minecraft? At Zaniac, we use Minecraft™ as a tool to teach real-world math, science, and technology skills. Minecraft reinforces math concepts and introduces students to physical and life sciences, architecture, and engineering. Kids learn with their peers in a fun team format while developing critical reasoning skills such as; problem-solving, communication, teamwork, creativity, and productivity. Get ready for an adventure with Zaniac’s Biosphere Explorers, an exciting afterschool program designed for beginners new to Minecraft. This program is perfect for young explorers eager to dive into the world of Minecraft while learning about life sciences in a fun and interactive way! In Biosphere Explorers, your child will journey through different biomes, discovering the wonders of biodiversity, renewable and non-renewable resources, and the importance of sustainability and self-sufficiency. As they navigate, mine, and craft their way through the game, they’ll learn valuable lessons about the environment and how to work together to achieve group missions.

It’s an opportunity for your child to develop critical skills such as teamwork, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and creativity.
