Violin - Private classes (Wednesdays JK-G5, 4:00 - 4:230 PM )

Trent Watkins comes to us from South Miami Violin. He teaches classical violin as well as fiddle styles. With an emphasis on technique and practical theory implementation, students build a foundation to practice more efficiently and effectively. Students begin playing immediately in their first lesson and learn different songs in the first three weeks. Students start by developing their ear training, focusing on intonation and song memorization. With time, attention is given to sight-reading as the student's ear develops. Trent Watkins, the instructor, is a graduate of the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. While there, he was a member of the Frost Symphony Orchestra.

The student will need to provide their violin. Once registered, we will email the parents a list of rental location options.

This session includes fourteen 30-minute private lessons.

• Parents must notify Trent or Mrs. Nardo if their child will miss a class. Trent will arrange a make-up session if the class is canceled ahead of time.
• There are no refunds for classes that are considered no-shows - without parent communication.
